Our History: The Heart of Nepalgunj
A Legacy Rooted in the Soil.
For decades, Nepalgunj has been the pulse of the herbal trade, serving as the primary transit point for herbs traveling from the high-altitude regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim to the rest of the world. The Jadibuti Association of Nepal (Nepalgunj) was established to bring structure to this ancient trade, protecting the interests of both the humble herb collectors in the mountains and the large-scale processors in the city.

The objective of this organization is to conserve, promote, and ensure the proper utilization of various medicinal herbs and other minor forest products available in the country. It also aims to protect the rights and interests of individuals and institutions involved in this sector and actively contribute to national development.
देशमा रहेको विभिन्न किसिमका जडीबुटी एवं अन्य लघु वन पैदावारहरुको संरक्षण, संवर्धन एवं समुचित सदुपयोग गर्ने र यस कार्यमा सलग्न व्यक्ति एवं संस्थाहरुको हकहित संरक्षण गर्दै देश विकासको कार्यमा सलग्न हुने यस संस्थाको उद्देश्य हुनेछ ।
